Don't
sit on the sidelines
Your child could sit at home, be bored, watch TV
or play video games all day. Or you could provide your child the
opportunity to play, create and explore with friends and family.
Children's Therapy Corner offers programs that recognize your childs
developmental potential. We make learning fun and interactive.
We sing, we dance, we touch, we move and, most of all, we allow
your childs creativity to flow and grow. Family time is included.
Time with friends. Time to imagine. Time to make noise and time
to laugh.
We're experts at engaging all kids. We know how to recognize
their potential. We encourage and guide. We allow their
pace and needs to direct us. A childs
development and love of play is what we are all about.
So dont sit on the sidelines. Get in here -- discover -- have fun --

Parent Education Workshop - Traverse City
Watch and Learn
Taking P.L.A.Y. Project® and DIR®/Floortime™ concept and Bringing them to Life!!
Description
This CTC P.L.A.Y. Project informal workshop takes the basic concepts of the Developmental, Individualized and Relationship Oriented model (DIR)®, the practice of which is known as Floortime™ and brings them to life through video reviews and discussions with other parents and caregivers interested in “digging deeper” and expanding their understanding of this rich model of intervention. Parents who are interested in, currently receiving or have participated in P.L.A.Y/ Project model are encouraged to attend, as are CTC parents who’s child may not have a diagnosis of ASD, however struggle with sharing attention, staying calm/focused and may have social communication and/or language challenges. We will brainstorm, share strategies and problem solve together using these ideas! Lots of video reviews, discussion and sharing between parents!
